Very nice patton. I'd like to see it on a little groundwork however. Just my personal foible perhaps.

Jack

Good idea Jack. I'll see if I find a spare base around here somewhere.

In production:
1. Schwimmie dio, street with lamplight and iron fence ready, Schwimmie building, lacking a civilian woman
2. Winter war dio with a T-38 and a couple of Finns. Having second thoughts, would be interesting to put the amfibian tank in water, climbing up from icy lake...
Hmmm...

The base coat is finished... but there's still a lot of work to do for the camo and then the rest of the painting...

You can see more of it here

Did you get to Fort Knox yet?

DJ

Leaving on June 11....that will give me some time to build some models :-) :-)
If everything goes alright at Knox I will probably ship down to Fort Benning and Jump School. Gotta enjoy modeling while I can, this is going to be one busy Summer.

When you get to jump school don't shave your head like some guys I knew did

Also don't ask about break area procedures

Have fun and remember it's just a mind over matter thing.

Just finished painting my DML Hetzer, and it's ready for markings and weathering. Also on the bench is Tamiya's Panzer III Ausf. L. Like all of you, it also includes one big cluttered mess. That mess is my next project!!! :-)

I've got an M48 from Tamiya just comming off the bench. I've got a Jeep Willys on the bench waiting to go into dio along with an M3A2 in construction phase a VP MP will be giving the two crews instructions in a check point dio. An M3 Stuart is taking over the M48's spot as a non-dio individual model.

I've half-started that same kit! We'll have to see if there's any tips to exchange.

Tamiya Dragon Wagon dominates the bench. Have a Tamiya M4A3 (older kit) on the trailer. The Sherm is brewed up and all the tools and stowage have been striped off. It's been fun modeling all the tool brackets, etc. This is going into a dio with a bunch of figures that are partially done, plus a scratch horse cart, a horse, and a few bombed out buildings.

Also have both Skybow's and Italeri's Dodge Command Cars ready for paint, as well as Tamiya's and Italeri's Willys Jeeps. I'm doing a side-by-side comparison of the kits for my AMPS chapter.
