Is there anyone who live in Puerto Rico that would like this great passtime of making 1/35 scale models plastic of world war two. It's got to be a few good Puertorriqueños that really like this hobby, that way we can share techniques and photos.

Yes, there are a number of them, me included.

I have been modeling for over 30 years, and I am into armor kits, basically tanks and softskins, from ww2 to present day.

I have dabbled in wooden ship construction in the past, and built two, but it is a slower process, so I really don't work on this.

Other than that, AFV's are my game.

Que bueno Jorge

Welcome to this forum. Your have more year in the armor modeling than me.

I started armor modeling since i was 18 year old. Over 20 year in the hobby.

I especially like ww2 tanks U.S. and British from the western front in europe and some from the north Africa.

Wooden ship construction. Wow! I imagine how hard that is got to be. Is a very slower process. I understand.

Thanks Jorge for answering the call. Hope that would be more good puertorriquenos just like you that like this good pastime of armour modeling. Keep in touch! See you next time.

Hi guys:

I know this post is very old, but yes we have a crew of Boricuas modeling WWII AFV and we meet once a month in Caguas or Dorado.

Just go to our calendar and let us know if you want to participate. You don't need to be part of the club to visit us, just go and say hello.

Pedro.

Saludos,

Pedro
