A fair review and I have the Revell boxing of this kit (only differance is dark green plastic). I note in the instructions you have shown (that they are also identical) the lifting mechanism and attaching the cable, so do you have a better idea than I exactly how the cable is attached to the lifting mechanism. I was looking at my instructions and I found them of little help.

I do indeed, although as you say it isn't because the instructions are so clear! I may have to sketch up some rather more useful directions and add them to the review...

(I believe I may also source a brass pully block to get some much-needed weight so the string doesn't flop about so unrealistically - hence my interest in the RB goods review.)

You may struggle to get a double sheave into that gap, if you do struggle give me a shout and I will try to get one turned for you.
