Some damn good entries!

I think its clear that with a bit of effort, and some increased publicity we can really make this DMOM work. I was personally a big fan of the days when people blogged their DMOM entries, I see perhaps a need here for a separate forum purely dedicated to blogs (some other model sites have this feature and it seems highly successful) then perhaps this will generate more interest in the competition, If say every model (blogged) begun and completed in the time is automatically entered into the competition, but also people become more active in watching and following each others builds.

A suggestion. Can you not display the running number of vote a model has? Why should I waste my vote on what I think is a good model when another has all of the entries snowed under? If I get a number of my friends to vote for mine even if there might be a better model there some voters might not cast their's the way they feel.

Sort of like not broadcasting election results from the east coast when the west coast is still voting for a couple of hours and Hawaii still has half the day to go.

My vote is cast! all were outstanding entries!

Also, I concur wirh Jim D about not being able to see the vote tallies until after the voting period is over. I really hope this is one of the changes being implemented in the new make over of the DMOM.

Tough job voting this time, lots of good entries here. Well done to everybody.

I sincerely hope that among the changes being contemplated is the removal of the running vote count. It's not helping by possibly causing a sway in the vote or, what's more likely, deterring members from voting because it casts a shadow on the process. Please remove this feature.

Please pardon my ignorance, how do I vote? I have a question, was this supposed to be a contest without aftermarket parts and excessive weathering? I was just wondering.
