Jan,

Do you think that replacing the kit's torpedoes with aftermarket ones would be a good option?

Either that or try to detail them yourself. Campared with the detaillevel of the kit the torpedoes are a bit dissapointing. I have tried to engrave the panels but it cant compete with the aftermarket stuff.

On the other hand - scalewise 1:72 is small, so its easy to overdo the details.

Mickster has a sale running where you can get som nice resin torpedoes and some very nice metal ones.
