“This publication offers for the very first time a comprehensive overview on the various British Trucks in Wehrmacht Service, covering well-know models and makes such as the Bedford and the Morris-Commercial GS trucks in the 8cwt to 3-ton range, the heavy Scammell Pioneers and AEC Matadors, specialized vehicles such as cranes and field cars as well as many rarer makes, rarities and oddities. A special chapter also grants an overview on the Canadian-built vehicles of the British Army that served with the Afrika Korps”

This book, front to back, is loaded with picture after picture accompanied by factual information regarding the vehicles outlined within. Some of the more notable inclusions for me in the book are the many photos of wrecks over 42 pages from the evacuation of Dunkirk, the widely used 6x4 Three -Tonners and of course the 23 pages of Canadian-built vehicles of the Afrika Korps.
Highs: Photo packed, well written and factual publicationLows: Nothing to addVerdict: Almost every photograph is crystal clear with supporting captions adding a tremendous amount of detailed, well written information about these vehicles. In the hands of a military modeler or researcher, this book is a definite must have!
