1/35 US Tanker Figure
WW2 US Sherman Tank Crew

introduction
Neo Grade has released a new figure of a typical US Tanker. Cleanly cast in the usual light cream colored resin, the figure is cast in 4 pieces.
The body, two arms and one head. Depicted wearing typical tanker coveralls, legs crossed, in a casual pose leaning against something. The cover colored photo shows him learning against his M-4 Sherman. The left arm is posed on his left hip, the thumb hooked into the pocket opening. The right arm down holding a cigarette.
a unique pack
A bit of unique packaging this time, as the parts are sealed individually in a plastic bubble type package, and then stuffed inside a nice plastic bottle that will come in handy for some storage after you finish the figure. The unique packaging even protected the delicate cast cigarette from breakage during shipping; the color label serves as your painting guide.
overall impression
My example displayed sharp details, and no air bubbles or blemishes. The fit of the arms required a drop of CA, and a quick swipe for complete filling at the shoulders. (I used my one finger for this with no ill effects, just be quick about it.) The separate head has a nice face, and detailed tankers helmet.
conclusion
Going for a mere $12.99 USD with free shipping from Lucky Models, it’s a nicely detailed, well cast, affordable figure to dress up your next US tank, that won’t break the bank.
I purchased this figure with my own shekels from one of my regular vendors, Lucky Models.com

SUMMARY
Highs: Extremely well cast, and packaged.
Lows: Could not find any.
Verdict: Go pick one up. I just may have to build another Sherman just to use this figure.

I'm rewriting this in a much more humoristic way, to help over inflate my ego, and place my self on a pedestal, because I don't have a life, and plastic models are the only thing I live for. I plead guilty as charged to excessive babble, light hearted humor, and continued encouragement to youngsters...

Thanks Dave, this looks to be a well sculpted and cast figure indeed. I like the packaging too... Why not go for the new AFV club M5A1 as something different to place him with? Brad

That is a very novel way of packing a product, and one it seems that works to a very high standard. With some of the resin figures that are being released now, and with them having some very fine detail in resin, perhaps this is the way to go. Nicely done Dave.

Thanks for the review Dave ! That bottle packaging is definitely one for the books !! Nothing more annoying than buying a resin figure and having to repair or replace a delicate part that was broken/damaged in transit Cheers jjumbo
