Yet another accessory set from Plus Model, which contains oil barrels and hand carts. These are in my opinion most useful for more modern builds. The set consists of six oil barrels and two different types of hand carts, in all 31 pieces of light sand resin.

The barrels can be painted in almost endless options when it comes to color combinations, and Plus Model has provided us with two decal sheets, with four different oil manufactures logo’s and warning labels of flammable and poisonous contends.

My review sample had some damage to the barrels, which steel rims were broken off, either during packing or postal handling. I used a very long time, tediously trying to repair some of the rims, with small pieces found in the plastic bag from the kit. Maybe Plus Model should start packing these products a little tighter, so the pieces won’t rattle around and get damaged that way.

Unfortunately, these logos are not the genuine ones, but something which looks a bit like it. This is probably due to copyright issues between the oil industry and Plus Model, which is nothing new in this business. So if only want the “real deal”, this might be annoying. The warning triangles are very useful, and don’t really need a specific color code.

Even though the decals aren’t quite correct, such detail really adds to the realistic appearance of the overall model or diorama.

The hand carts provided consists of a hand truck cart barrel dolly and a 4 wheel wooden deck platform truck, which both are very well detailed.

These carts are very useful for especially modern diorama builders, and the 4 wheel wooden deck platform truck have much potential, as it can be loaded with everything from barrels, wheels/tires, engine parts, etc.

I highly recommend this kit, especially because of the two hand carts, which are really useful and very well executed.
