Masterful work, as always, Vladi! The new figures show great character, realistic poses, and your trademark attention to detail --- not to mention a great choice of subject matter!! Vladi, will we ever see a Navy crew suitable for PBR/Riverine/PACV/SEAL duty in 35th scale? Given that we've got resin Monitors, Tango Boats, ASPBs, PACVs and plastic PBRs and LSSCs, etc. I've got my fingers crossed that we'll one day see your talents render us some cool Vietnam Riverine crew figures! Keep up the great work, Vladi! Regards and Aloha, Johnny B.

Cool, I like the continuation of the Platoon theme... Vladi, any more M113 riders in the works? I second that! Mario

Another excellent figure set, Vladi! As usual, the poses are realistic and the attention to detail on the uniforms and equipment is excellent. Not only are these figures good for an ACAV or other vehicle, but they could also be placed on top of a bunker at a fire base or on the edge of a fighting position. However, if they we actually out in the field, I would hope they would refrain from smoking the "funny" type of smokes until they got to a more rear-type area like their base camp. I noticed a lot of requests for Navy personnel for the various crafts of the Brown Water Navy. Don't forget the 9th Infantry Division Soldiers who were part of the Mobile Riverine Force! Cheers, James

Good call call on that, James! I never would have thought of 9th ID figures! Great idea. Fingers crossed Vladi will hook us up with some cool Riverine figures at some point soon... By the way, Masterpiece Models has got a resin 35th scale Swift PCF boat in the works (not that I will be able to afford it)... Be nice to see one of these in plastic --- keep dreaming, I know! Regards and Aloha, Johnny B.

Hey Johnny, I have a feeling that there might be something of that sort in the works. Vladi from Bravo 6 has a lot of great ideas and does his homework referencing the details of his figure sculpts, and with his desire to create figures from all aspects of the Vietnam Experience, it would only be natural to have some figures from the Mobile Riverine Force since it, like the widespread use of the Huey, was something that can be associated automatically with Vietnam. This figure set would work in the troop carriers of the MRF. I've seen the various river craft from Masterpiece Models and would love to add them to my collection for use in dioramas, but they are a little too pricey for me right now. However, if I were to ever win the lottery, I'd make sure I would get them all. I'd have to wait until I retire from the military before I'd have time to build them all.
