Dragon Models have just announced another 1/35th scale figure set. Not particularly unusual in itself, however, it seems there are signs of a slightly different approach.
6655 - Panzer-Regiment 7 10.Panzer-Division Smolensk 1941

Once again, 4 figures in the set. These comprise of three Tank Crew and, as the announced 'bonus' a figure of General Guderian. Frankly, the Crew don't make me want to rush out and put in a pre-order, the figure of Guderian does certainly add some more interest to it.

It's a nice touch on the part of DML but it would have been perhaps more interesting if they had done the famous General with his personal detachment of ADCs and communications officers?

As ANOTHER bonus - not one of the figures is pointing!

Roman's right, it is an older figure, but quite good - 2. Gen. if I remember corectly. But the new figures looks just right for any Pz. III or IV. New "Tankers" are ALWAYS welcome, and I actually like them, even though some modellers probably will get very upset about yet another German set. But I do agree, a couple of allied tankcrew sets would do just fine. Jacob

The figures look nice. Good timing with the new Pz. III H release as well. I might be tempted, but not half as much as I would be for a good allied crew.

A three figure set with a bonus fourth figure? I'd rather have another crew figure for the other side of the turret.

I agree!

The detailing looks like DML have taken styrene up a notch. Excellent figures in my estimation. The Guderian figure creates more problems than it solves, because he wouldn't be walking around without a staff and a staff vehicle. But it's nice tooling nonetheless.

after I will see them in the "flesh" I'll be convinced, Dragon more then once had super boxart , but once you get to assembling the figs, some are not exactly the pose like on the box, and the other panzercrew had undersized figs in my opinion. we'll see Greetz

It's great to have a new panzer crew set, but a fourth figure is certainly not a 'bonus', unless DML plans on downsizing subsequent figure sets to only three figures.

I agree that it's nice to see a historic personality included in a figure set, but to call it a bonus is misleading at best when the set is 4 figures in total. Now, if the Guderian figure was added to a set of four figures that would indeed be a bonus. Based on the CAD images the figures look nice, it's just a shame they had to over-hype what they were offering. Cheers, Chris LINK

Did I miss something? Looks like Gerald Ford in a greatcoat! Now if only they would release a set of golf clubs I would be set Rick Cooper
