It was rumored some time ago that Tamiya is working quietly on 1/35 scale French MBT Leclerc.
Now this story has been confirmed! In December issue of Tamiya Model Magazine International is a short note confirming that Tamiya's next 1/35 model will indeed be the Leclerc.

Currently this kit is only available in 1/35 scale from Heller and both versions of this kit available from this French manufacturer are far from what we call current quality standards. The only other model available was from Trumpeter and it was just a poor copy of Heller kit.

The date of the release of Tamiya Leclerc and the price of the kit are not known yet.
