Italeri have just announced, through their website, some interesting new releases in both 1/72nd AND 1/35th scale....

Beginning with the 1/35th releases, the following new kits are due for future issue:

6438 - M1 A1 Abrams with Additional Resin Parts.

6435 - Leopard II A6

Now the Leopard has been rumored for a while, the Abrams seems to be an attempt to compete with the other companies in 'multi-media kits'. A very good thing indeed...

Moving the attention to 1/72nd scale. Only two new releases, both of them are Allied subjects however and both seem to be tied in to the commemoration of the Normandy landings...
