thanks for the heads up Jim. they have released 3 items that i want, being the M7, the new tiger and the PZ.III. shame their kit's are somewhat pricey

For Darkside subjects they look very good. I don't think they are that pricey anymore. I pulled my remaining DML T26E3 pershing out of the Shed the other day and it had a $49 price on the box and a 1996 date so given that a standard AFV is about $60 now (In Aust) and its 14 years later I actually see them as pretty good value considering what you get in the box compared to their earlier kits. Of course that is only related to local pricing but for a kit of that quality I see them as fairly priced - I don't like how they behave but their kits are great and I think the prices are Ok. Al

This looks very good for anyone wanting to do an earlier Pz II. I'm glad it looks like they've finally made one where you can position the radio operator's hatch open. In all the victory parades that featured Panzer IIs, you always see the operators sitting on their open hatches. I guess with the up-armored C's and the F's, they didn't have much time for parading, so it's no big deal to leave it closed, but it sure seemed a shame not to show all of that interior detailing.

I'm definitely getting the Panzer II. The assembly for the engine deck is actually the same as with DML's last Ausf.C, I'm not sure about the Ausf.F though. But yeah, it is a shame to leave all that closed when you're given a really good interior to build.

They say this kit has a new upper hull for the II-B and, if you look at the CG view describing the fenders having pattern on upper and lower surfaces, you can see the opening for the radio operator's hatch. I have both of the previous II's and they definitely ignore this opening, so I guess I'll be buying this one, too.
