News from Legend of their latest HMMWV Conversion and accessories.
Here's a bit of news a lot of modelers have been awaiting for a long time. It was inevitable, and thankfully Legend Productions has taken the lead in offering us this latest HMMWV version- an Uparmored M1151. The conversion is based on the Tamiya M1025, and will be available next week.

No word on price yet, but expect it to be worth the price for the usual Legend quality.

As many of you may know, I was the up gunner on one of these in Iraq, and my initial impressions are very favorable. I won't bore you any further with my "kid in a candy store" giddiness. Just let the photos speak for themselves:

In conjunction with the Uparmored M1151, Legend Productions brings us lots of HMMWV accessories, most of which have applications with other modern kits. These are very timely subjects indeed.

Unfortunately, no word on pricing yet but watch this space.

Hello William, your link should end with 11808 instead of 11807e otherwise it does not work.

Does anyone have pictures of what the ECM antenna set includes? Or a quick instruction scan. The dome antenna looks like it has wires going somewhere and I dont know if that "somewhere" comes with it. Thank You Evan

What does it come with? Exactly whats on the box pic. After looking at mine, I coulda, shoulda woulda scratched this thing myself. Not worth the 14 dookies I shelled out. Chinese buffet with drink plus tip would have been a better choice.

I was afraid of that...where do those wires go?!?!?! Thank You though! Evan

After perusing this kit, I'm one happy camper. There are some things that can be changed out ; the Duke is weak. This can simply be replaced with a better detailed one from either the AFV Stryker kit, or the BLAST set. The rings at the bottom of the door are a little thin. they defintely can be thickened out. The acrylic for the glass is a nice touch. I find it strange why one is hard and the other is soft, the latter being for the front glass. My set was well cast, with a bubble here and there, but otherwise near perfect. I also believe the BFT in this kit is closer to scale than that found in ProArts Commo set. The Legend variant is almost twice its size, unless those things came in sizes which I'm not aware of. Anyone, anyone? I've heard some people say the instructions are kind of vague; honestly, they are no different than any other provided by LEGEND. After seeing so many I guess you just get used to it. Again, a very comprehensive set, and very expensive. Worth the money? As I said previously, no, but its the only game around and it is very nice indeed. As for the interior set, I find it kinda moot that they would sell it as a seperate kit. It is incomplete and doesn't give you the required backwall and all its accoutrements, plus some other bits as found in the complete conversion set.
