The Italian publishing house, Auriga, have sent us images of two new publications.
The first is particularly timely - coming as it does in the midst of the '2009 Half-Track Commercial War':

History File - N°4: Sd.Kfz. 7

64 pages with both B+W and color profiles, this new book will be available from May 2009.

The second is also bound to be of interest with the number of New M4s coming onto the market:

Steel Art N° 65 - Sherman Special

68 Pages full color. Plenty of highly modified models, history, historical pictures, drawings, technical details, and a bonus 42x60 cm poster.

Our thanks to Auriga Publishing Website (LINK) for the Update!

Great news! An Armorama review is essential to see how this book adds to the knowledge base. There is a crying need for a really thorough book with period photos. Less need for one with modern ones, unless at a very reasonable price, as the "Wings & Wheels" edition runs about $45 street price.

The "Steel Art" on the Sherman looks interesting (OK, I'm a hopeless Sherman junkie!). 1) Is the test in English? 2) Does anyone know of a US distributor? Thanks, Gary
