I'm glad to see Dragon rereleasing both of the pak guns. They're nice little kits, and the Aber sets can add a great bit of detail. I'm looking forward to getting ahold of this one. I really like the pepperpot muzzle brake, but didn't get it on the first go-round. Scott

Looks like DML's continuing the path of upgrading their various artillery kits...aside from the castor wheel and perhaps a new muzzle brake, doesn't look lik this one got much of an upgrade beyond inclusion of a brass round and a crew to go with it?

Being an artillery guy (as opposed to armor), this is a must have for me. If the kit is even half as good as the CAD then this will be a great kit. WRT the upgrade I don't remember the orginal kit so I can't comment.

Great to see DML's older kits getting an overhaul, especially this more interesting peice. However, there doesn't seem to be a massive overhaul of the older gun as Bill says. Some turned rounds and the Pak 40 gun crew being the only real change. I'm guessing they have just added a 'worn rubber' texture to the castor wheel compared to the older one, and the muzzle brake still looks like it'll need all the little holes drilling out, an annoying but neccesary measure on the kit. However, i'm not complaining, this will certainly be a better option of the only other styrene version available which is Italeri's 97/38. Thanks for the heads up, James
