Two new figures from Arto, this time Tiger crew in Africa.
The first figure is a Tiger I commander of the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion, which was active from the end of 1942 to the end of the African Front in 1943.

This figure can certainly be used as a commander for the 501 heavy tank battalion as well as the 504 heavy tank battalion that was active in the same region. (Tiger-I 131, which became more famous through the movie Fury, belongs to the 504 Heavy Tank Battalion)

The outfit is a basic tropical outfit so it can be used as a crew member of other armoured vehicles as long it belongs to DAK. However, on a side note, the boots are the 1942 type so you will have to keep this in mind when using the figure (There are subtle differences in the design of the front axle of the boots.)
In the case of the boots, special attention and care were taken to reproduce every precise detail and features of the actual boots. The shape and number of shoelaces woven differently with ㅅ and X shapes are reproduced as they actually exist.

The headset comes as a photoetch with fine detail.

Second figure can be used in soft skin vehicles in addition to tanks if representing a member of the DAK Armored Regiment.
As Africa uniforms came in a variety of colors ranging from desert colors to khaki, green, and light brown, the use of different shades will create interesting, diverse variants.
