Dear Dmitri, Having respect for your feelings, I guess that you should see this more as a subject that tries to give us some “more funny” subject. I can not imagine that it is supposed to offend somebody. Looting is part of every war: I have seen countless examples during my Bosnian missions. It was done by all armies and civilians from all sides, without exemption. Maybe we should start a campaign where we build trucks (and trains?) full of civilian goods, which are brought tothe rear to fill officers private houses or warrying parties’ musea? There are plenty photos on the web, one showing even a private car on the back of a German AFV. Again, you are right that not only Soviet troops looted.

Never question the victor's version of history.....

Hi, Anyone here wants to predict what's going to happen if somebody releases figurines of some poor downtrodden persons looting Amazon store in Portland few weeks ago? What's going to happen then? You don't know? Let me guess. All those "politically neutral hobbyists" will demand boycotting the company and call for banning them from everywhere. Tell me that's my fantasy. But you can't if you still have a bit of common sense. Lots of examples over the Internet! And those people now saying this is normal and just "funny". No, this release is not normal. And not funny

That war hasn't been won yet, so we don't have a victor to write the history. We may very well find out that those "looters" were really just "peaceful protestors".

I fully understand that certain subjects can hurt feelings and can be very sensitive subjects to touch, unfortunately such events happen in any war, riot or revolution in every side, more or less everyone has always done it, usually they are fortunately perpetrated by a minority, other times they are systemic and institutionalized as the Nazis did by raiding museums and collections throughout Europe, once it was also a way to "pay" the soldiers. What I personally don't understand is who insists on denying the facts For me it is a nice kit, done very well, and certainly the 4 soldiers could wear any uniform of any conflict in human history ... the guy with the top hat reminds me of Sven Hassel's books caracters

I shouldn't have started to resent this set. I received many letters from indignant Russians with insults in my address, with wishes to boycott him or the quickest bankruptcy of my online store. Some especially indignant Russians, in a fit of their historical indignation, wrote to me that I was "a tolerant fagot who should be raped, so that others would know." So much for the reaction of ordinary Russians.

Unfortunately Dmitri that’s the way people act these day. D-Day should be able to release what they like and people are ok not to like it. People shouldn’t be wishing the demise of either business. Think about how great we all have it that resin figures are apparently the biggest issue of our day.
