I know a fellow on another site devoted more to 1/18 and 1/6 who is making one of these out of resin as a kit to sell. This is not likely to make him happy. But isn't that how we get certain kits? When someone finally breaks down and does the vac or resin version first?

That is how it usually happens, especially in 1/35. I've scratched at least 3, T-34 conversions of Middle East vehicles (Egyptian T-122 or T-34/122, Syrian T-34/122 howitzer, Egyptian T-100 or T-34/100), and Rye Field has released 2 of them in kit form. The T-34/100 in kit form, is just a matter of time. So yea...Murphy's Law even prevails in the modeling world.

I built the 1A. A good and sound kit at a reasonable price, but not maxed out on detail. Looking forward to this to complement it.

Agree completely on the companies taking inspiration from us on what to offer; I purchased Border's Pz IV late "G" last year and kit bashed/scratch built a full interior for it only to have RFM (?) offer the same. Argh! Oh well, the list grows ever bigger. Now if only Amusing Hobbies would FINALLY release their teaser Ferdinand kit with full interior!
