The Focke-Wulf FW C30A Heushrecke early production is an early auto giro that most have likely only seen in bond movies. I was torn as to if this belonged on Armorama but the 1/35th scale says to me that modellers of armour may have an interest. So look inside to see a little on this model.
I had not realised that this small and agile machines had been around for so long, but regardless I am pleased to see what I believe is the second offering of this flying machine. The detail offered here in the way of photo etch is very nice and really brings the included radial engine to life. I was also very pleased to see that MiniArt tackled the thorny issue of the swastika and provided it in parts so no looking to the aftermarket boys on this occasion. The only addition I would like to see are some pilots to make the offering complete.

No kidding. I love how people rehash the same tired arguments. Whatever happened to just skipping past something you don't want to read. Me, I think it's nice to see other items that might be in scale with some of my tanks.

The arguments they make are fair and reasoned and they should not be knocked for that. I have explained why I have done what I have and I would hope that they can accept my reasons for doing what I have.

Pardon the interruption on this great debate here but outside of the decals, is there any real change in the plastic offered? In my defense this question is pre first cup of joe but I don’t see any difference other than name and decals. Please continue on with this fantastic debate.

I can see both sides of the argument. The question is: why was this thread moved to AeroScale then? Same manufacturer, same scale... LINK ...while this one wasn't moved to Model Shipwrights: LINK

1. There wasn't any ship lovers asking for it and I didn't have the access rights to be able to move it anyway. Moving one of the tagged threads, News in this case, corrupts the tagging so I will not touch any of those. 2. The Triebflügel had been discussed in the Armour/AFV forum for a while and the discussion had started to go quiet so I thought that I might as well give the aircraft/helicopter folks a chance to discuss it. The discussion over in Rotary Wing didn't take off though .... / Robin

You're a brave man, Darren! I could see this in a number of armour-related dioramas - either in service or on a captured airfield...

maybe even including the world famous 'pointing German officer'

Provided he has a pair of binoculars in the other hand. And let's not forget the requisite map case. So much huff over nothing much...
