All positive to me. Yes, the engine would have been great, no doubt. I also hope, as was sort of suggested, that this will be the first in a robust line of Pz/Stug III's and possibly others with similar attributes. If it is, it's almost certain aftermarket engine(s) will follow. Or maybe Dragon is planning the engine as a separate kit.

Who says they won't? They have the neo track tooled, why not do the whole line-up with interiors?[/quote] I wasn't sure you meant they won't tool the engine or they won't do the line up, it seems like you're saying the latter. and you're probably right.

If scalehobbyist's prices are any indication, it looks to be between $60-70 for kits with similar MSRP.

Hate to seem like I've been hiding under a rock (though maybe I was...) but could someone fill me in on this new "Neo Smart Kit" label? "New" smart? How smart is that? And it seems pretty cheap to skip the entire engine compartment. And what's this about new tracks? No more tan snakes? Wow. Some much to catch up on; I really should leave the workbench sometimes...

New tracks are link and length type rather than full indy links. Enough of an interior that you can leave the hatches open and see what is inside, which most modelers are comfortable with. Hobby easy has it listed on pre-order for about $49 US.

I think this sounds great ,leght and link has been the go in 48th since it was rebooted nearly 20 years ago .It sure beats DS . The prices down here are about the same as i would pay for a tamiya kit so whats not to like. Now if they would be so kind as to release an early 2in 1 brummbar kit id be very happy Have fun Wayne

I didn't see it a couple days ago. Not a bad price considering the cost of some Dragon PZ III's listing about the same price.
