Oh Lord! Another Big one to break the bank and force me gradually out of my home for lack of space. Still, I'd really like to see one if only to judge how complete the interior actually is.

Some day I'll break down, and break the bank, and get one of these huge kits!

I would like to know how Trumpeter is defining "Late" for this kit. What production month or timeframe is covered by the parts. Need to see the instructions to better define this as well as compare with the 1/35 RFM Panther Ausf. G. One of these days, I'll get one of these Trumpeter 1/16 Panzer kits just for curiosity.

Hi Unless I'm missing something, the sprue shots, (and the box artwork) show only steel wheels. No option it would seem to go last wheel station steel wheel with rubber for the rest as it appears no rubber rimmed wheels included. Alan

I missed that Alan. You are correct. If Trumpeter is modeling one of the 25 Ausf. G's built with the steel wheels, then it would have to be a mid-production version, not Late. In 1945, MAN was building a handful of Panthers with the steel wheel on the last station only. Not sure what version this kit represents until we can see the instructions.

Same here but I’m holding out for a Sherman tank, they’ve made every other significant WW2 tank except the Sherman. If they start putting out sherman variants I’m going to be spending a LOT of hard earned cash, maybe it’s better if they don’t release one
