Has Takom even hinted they might do a Sd.Kfz 7 at some point?

Yes a plastic injection Feuerleitwagen, but not for me, have seen the first 3D drawings of it and I'm not conviced that this is a good model. Have the feeeling that this is a copy made from the Leadwarrior model. There are the same errors and even more as the Leadwarrior kit. Then Trompeter says that the vehicle must be painted in German Dark Grey, well I never have seen a picture of a dark grey Feuerleitwagen. They are late war made vehicles so the Dark Yellow is the correct colour Also never seen the German cross on of these this vehicle. There are no bolts visable on the outside of the cabindoor Trompeter has them. Taeuss You want to see a Feuerleitwagen please take a look at this site. LINK And Yes I hope that TAKOM will bring us more V-2 related models like the Oxigeentanker, the Bussing NAG accutruck WITH KIND REGARDS BERT

I feel your pain, Cliff; you've just been swatted down for mentioning the "unmentionable". I've been talking about the vehicles you've mentioned above for years. That's all I'm going to say on that score...

No license plates and a questionable scheme? Wasn't one of these at Peenemunde as early as 1941-2 for the early tests? I seem to remember film footage of tests and dark grey vehicles. In "I wish" land how about the American support vehicles from the US post war tests?

Re: "I Wish Land" Careful, Steve... The "Panzer Polizei" are just drooling to make mincemeat out of us...

Too late for me, scratchbuilt this one something like 10+ years back... Would be great if Trumpeter or any other company follows a bit the trail and brings the sexy Opel Blitz 4x4 as a plastic kit...

Hallo Bert. Heb even door je bouwverslagen gezapt. Ongelofelijk mooi werk. Petje af. Everyone interested should click the link for the Feuerleitwagen. When finished, there's more to see on the Meilerwagen build and all installations needed to get an A4 from its platform. Highly recommended! Kind regards, Robert Jan (suffering a very hot afternoon at Nantana Garden)

Thank you Bert. I've been itching to do one of these ever since I toured the Pennemunde museum and stared at their launch dio thinking how much I could add at twice the scale (1/35). Hope I live long enough to collect/scratch build the necessary stuff. I figure another couple of decades should about do it to clear the existing backlog...
