Dragon is now offering a very useful 2-in-1 kit of the FlaK 38, offering modelers to build either an early-production or late-production version of it.
Germany fielded a number of antiaircraft weapons during WWII, and one of the smallest was the FlaK 30 and its modernized version the FlaK 38. These cannons were of 20mm caliber and were the most widely produced German artillery pieces of the war with thousands manufactured.

The FlaK 38 was mounted on a single-axle Sonderanhangar 51 (Sd.Ah.51) towed carriage. As well as targeting low-flying aircraft, the weapon could also be used effectively in the ground role.

There are slight differences between early and late versions, and Dragon supplies all necessary components to build either one. Modelers can pose the gun at various elevations or degrees of traverse, or it can be assembled in transport configuration.

Making the FlaK 38 even more desirable is a complete gun crew and its associated Sd.Ah.51 trailer.

So did they fix the issues mentioned in? LINK like the ill fitting PE mash?

Probably not.

No, the mesh is still shown inside the frame when PMMS says it should be outside the frame.

Another 2-in-1 that has virtually nothing additional. If the changes -which are few and rather subtle- are listed it would most likely be just like some of their earlier releases that already included the differences on the receiver without the silly marketing fanfare. And no, they probably didn't correct anything (including their dismal instructions). Sad as I otherwise like what they produce but Dragon doesn't seem to deem it worthy of their efforts to correct mistakes in their instructions or oversights in their kits. Good news for other recent model producers.

And that is why they are losing ground to the new companies.

It's got to be the exact same sprues and PE that were used in the Flakpanzer I I built not too long ago. Between the typical DML instruction problems and that shell cage I just about gave up.
