Tiger Model Designs have announced several new releases in 1/35th scale. The most impressive is undoubtedly their complete (resin) kit for the M8 Heavy Motar Carriage.
The new releases from TMD are:

28002 - M8 Heavy Motor Carriage ($145.00)

The (complete) kit includes the following:

EDUARD photo etch sets 35 509 (exterior) and 35 530 (interior)
AFV CLUB M3/M5/M8 vertical volute spring suspension (AF 35056)
AFV CLUB T36E6 late style M3/M5/M8 metal track links (AF 35020)
TOADMAN's TMD SPECIAL M8 HMC REFERENCE CD

More than 245 resin parts which also include:
TMD U.S. Pioneering Tools w/o Clamps (20004); U.S. 75 mm Howitzer Ammo Set (353155); M5/M8 Stamped Road Wheels (24602); U.S .50 cal (future release); M8 Turret w/Interior (28001); 2 U.S. Periscope Sets (25202) and a complete and accurate lower M8 hull with interior and clear resin head light lenses (the lower hull has been scratch built to insure accuracy in shape, detail and dimension)

At $145 I think I'll stick with the inaccurate and geriatric one. You can get the old kit, some AFV club tracks and a detail set and have a great looking model at a fraction of the price. $145 would be better spent elsewhere. Just my opinion.

I agree,the TMD really looks like a great kit,but pricey. I built the old Tamiya M8,added the AFV club suspension and tracks,then added Verlinden detail set and stowage. Still less than $50,and looks good enough.

Wow, very nice! I've always had a soft spot for the M8 and am happy to see a nice, current kit of it. Definitely on my must-buy list.
