From the Warfront Series of Scale 75 comes another WWII-era figure kit, this time depicting a subject from the allied forces side.
US Sergeant (SW35-024). Produced in high quality resin, this 1/35 scale figure features an American soldier (ca 1942-44) without the M41 jacket. Suggested use is for summer-themed vignettes either in Sicily or Normandy.

Nice pose & detail! Kind of an odd facial expression but I can live with that. We need the rest of the squad now!

I agree, good to see a summer look and more squad members needed in the same! Italy dio on the horizon with this guy.

Great figure but I don't like that rear sight and bayonet lug on that carbine! One of the jewels of my gun collection is my WW2 General Motors Inland October-1943 production M1 carbine that my Grandpa brought back from the war. It has the early rear sight and no bayonet lug so that's the first thing I always look for now! From what I've been told, after 1945, they added the new rear sights and bayonet lug (like the one the figure has) and that's a quick way to identify a post-war or updated one.
