Armory is close to release a new Paper Panzer, the VK 72.01 (K) at 1/72.
A heavy tank designed with the turret on the rear hull and to be armed with a 15cm gun.

The kit is a limited edition and features 187 plastic parts, plus 26 photoetch parts and comes with a turned brass barrel. The tracks are link&length.

It comes also with a generic decal sheet with numbers in different styles, several unit emblems and German crosses.

Looking forward to Andras reviewing this one maybe...? 1/72 with over 200 parts is interesting, though I suspect much of that will be every wheel detail broken down separately. BTW, the Armory website link above the news story is out of date, it should now be LINK

Yawn. To each their own but "Summer 46" speculation seems meaningless when there still remains worthy subjects to offer that cry out for kits to be made of them.

I have received new photos of the sprues, decals and model. News is updated now with much more graphical material.

You are extremely well informed. I think I'll put some scotch tape over the camera of my laptop... Most of the parts are the running gear and the link-and-length tracks.
