Known by its NATO designation SS-26 Stone, the Iskander is a short-range ballistic missile that replaced the Oka (SS-23 Spider). The Iskander-M was the version adopted by the Russian Army in 2006. Fitted with both internal and optical guidance systems, it is nuclear-capable and has a range of 400km. As of 2017, it has been reported that the Russian Army operates 112 of these missile systems.

Modelcollect’s Russian Iskander 9K720 Tactical Ballistic Missile (MA72011) is offered in 1/72 scale as a limited edition kit. It contains plastic and photo-etched parts, and features interior details and rubber wheels. The kit will start shipping this month of April.
