New from Dnepromodel is its rendition of the Hungarian 44M anti-tank rocket launcher.
The Hungarian 44M Buzogányvető (Mace Thrower) was an unguided anti-tank rocket weapon designed for use against Soviet armor and personnel in World War II. The 44M consisted of a launcher capable of holding two rockets with the gunner operating from the weapon's left side. Originally developed to be mounted on a tripod, there have instances where captured Soviet wheeled mounts were used, as well as on trucks, and even on the 38M Toldi II light tank. It is estimated that 600 to 700 of these weapons were produced, and most were deployed during the Siege of Budapest in late 1944.

Dnepromodel’s Hungarian 44M Buzogányvető Anti-tank Rocket Launcher (#35120) is cast in resin, and depicts the weapon on a wheeled mount.

Background information on the subject was sourced from Wikipedia.

It was a rather potent anti-armor weapon, with it Hungary was among the only countries (with the US and Germany) actually deploying rocket-propelled AT missiles.
