A bit "me, too" but still good to have if you don't already have other makes.

Vallejo has kindly sent us more detailed information on the use of these sets. Note that all of them come with step by step guides for their main use: Dust & Dirt Four references chosen to represent dust and dirt effects either on vehicles or ground. The set includes a step by step guide for a destroyed vehicle, showing how to use it and the final result. It is just an example of use, as the creativity of the modeler surely will find many more. Mud & Sand Four special shades for mud and sand on vehicles or terrains, with a step by step guide of a vehicle on a dry environment Rust & Corrosion An updated set including Vallejo’s latest references for rust. The range covers from the darker shades to lighter ones, which are suitable both for large areas or subtle scratches. Stone & Cement Four references specially chosen to help recreating the dusty look of destroyed buildings, rubble and ruins. They can be mixed for optimal results. Soot & Ashes This set includes pigments for reproducing the effect of fire on structures or vehicles, with burnt metal, wood or any other flammable material. It allows to represent the changes suffered by paint under extreme temperatures and the ashes produced by the combustion.

Are these new formula pigments? Apart from the Rust & Corrosion set, the other four are same as previously available items. Vallejo 73196, 73197, 73198 & 73199? Is it just re-boxing? Paul

Hi Paul, As far as I know the product is the same but now they include the step by step guides, plus a blister pack instead of the box.
