Panzer Shop announces new upgrade sets for the Tamiya T-72M1 and Trumpeter MAZ-537.
PS35267 VT-72B Recovery tank (for Tamiya)
The VT-72B is an Armored Recovery Vehicle (ARV) built on the T-72M1 chassis. It has a high superstructure at the hull front and a jib crane. The crew consists only of driver in the hull front and the commander directly behind. The only armament of the vehicle is a 12.7mm AA-MG, which is mounted on top of the commander's cupola.

There was a VT-72B released by Panzer Shop several years back which is now Out-of-Production. Whilst the previous release was a full kit, this new release is a conversion set to upgrade the Tamiya T-72M1 kit.

PS35267 provides a conversion multimedia set containing resin parts, photo-etch, and CD-ROM for documentation.

PS35268 KZKT-7428 Saddle Tractor
The KZKT-7428 prime mover was developed to replace the MAZ-537. Similar in layout, it was designed to haul semi-trailers with loads up to 70 tons. Having entered service with the Soviet Army in 1981, it is believed only a small number of these were built.

PS35268 provides a conversion resin set, photo-etch, windows, and & dashboard to upgrade the Trumpeter MAZ-537 kit.

Cool, I can see the VT-72 finding its way to my bench as I have a Tamiya T-72 in the stash.

Hi; I have long awaited the VT-72; But as nice as the Panzer Shop kit's are, I just can't justify the Cost of the Conversion ! I thought, soon as I went out and purchased the conversion, Trumpeter would release it in plastic. Atleast that is what I am still whishing for. CHEERS; MIKE.

Ambitious stuff, prices are fine as these are these are not mass produced models.

Looks like Trumpeter has a KZKT-7428 in the pipeline... : H.P.

Now I finally have a real reason to build my T-72 rather than simply "because I've got one" rather than "because I now have a cool one!" and I'll worry about the price closer to the time...

Nice! Is this what comes atop the chassis they showed on their Facebook page a couple of weeks ago? Or is this something different?
