Newly listed on MMK’s catalogue is the Willys CJ-3B M606 in RAAF service.

Built between 1952 and 1968 the Willys Universal Jeep CJ-3B had flat front fenders like earlier Jeep models but may be easily recognizable with its higher hood profile.

Available information on the M606 military version is limited, as the M606 designation does not even appear in some lists of US military vehicles. The M606 may refer to Jeeps built for overseas military aid or sale. It is believed that the designated M606s were just the CJ-3B that came off the assembly line, having the same serial numbers as the civilian version. The look of the military version differs with that of the civilian model with the use of larger tires and springs, and a few features such as a blackout lamp on the front left fender.

MMK Kit# F3061 builds the M606 as a right-hand drive vehicle as used by the Royal Australian Air Force in the 1960s. Additional details include an engine and a radio. The kit is in resin, with decals and photo-etch frets to complete MMK's offering.
