Zvezda has almost ready their GAZ Tigr ("Tiger"), which will be available most probably at the end of this month.
The Russian multi-purpose, all-terrain vehicle is a relatively recent design, as it started official production in 2007 and since then has been exported to several countries.

Zvezda will find some hard competence, as the Tigr is already availableI from Meng and Xact Models. Will be interesting to see how it does compare in terms of accuracy, detail, price and easiness of building

Judging from the photos, the kit features a full interior with ammunition, detailed underside and vinyl tires.

Box-art.. they should have marketed it together with their "Green Men" figure set... or were they calling them "Polite Men" Is this a different variant than MENG's and X-ActScale's kits? Hisham

As fas as I can see on pictures, this is a different kit from Meng's I've already own. You can see a few pictures of the sprues on modelkits.com.ua from Ukraine and you would appreciate that vehicle´s body is made in at least 5 different parts, when Meng´s made in in only one.

Sorry, I should say that Meng is made in only one piece!

What's the point of writing "TIGR"? You should use the Cyrillic alphabet. David

Hello David, I tend to keep the original names of the vehicles instead of the translation, no matter if they are German (Marder, Luchs, Maus...), Soviet (Smerch, Bereg, Buk...), or wherever. As I guess not all the readers, me being the first, are fluent in other alphabets, I use the standard one so at least it has a readable name.
