Underwhelming sculpting, but the gear for the 105mm looks solid. Fire bases often have piles and piles of ammo, so I wish someone would recreate that.

Is there another angle shot of the WW1 crew? They look like midgets from the photo.

Not that I found, those were the only photos they had.

I'd swear that the WWI tanker set was issued years ago. Is this just Verlinden's attempt to cash in on the current WWI craze with old stock? And for that matter, the WWII gun crew looks pretty familiar.

The anatomical discrepancies of the US gun crew are quite noticeable. To me, it appears the figure covering his ears is a recycle of some sort. His torso clearly was sculpted with the intent for this figure to have his arms hanging down. Note the downward angle of his shoulders. But suddenly at the seam where the up-stretched arms attach, there's an acute angle upwards. Many figure converters make this same mistake as well -- treating figures as if they're GI Joe dolls with rotating joints. It's simply maddening to me. You can do this yourself. Likely, you're at a keyboard or holding onto a tablet/phone as you read this. Right now, look at the angle of your shoulders -- they naturally drape downwards. Now lift your arm so your upper arm is perpendicular to your torso. Note how your entire rib cage, shoulder and back work in concert to raise your arm. Your shoulder is now horizontal. Should you raise your upper arm above horizontal, your shoulder's angle nearly follows. That figure is a very poor effort. Compare it with this sculptor's AMAZING ability to capture correct anatomical angles and features: This is from Tank Models of Russia.

These are old figures....rehashed, it's a shame Mr Verlinden has no new sculpted figures after all this time. I can just about pick all the mixed lower and upper torsos that he uses to create 'new figures'.

Does anyone know if VP are in financial trouble or something? They don't seem to have the budget to design new releases that don't rehash their old stuff.
