Caraktere publishing has informed Armorama of their latest release in the form of Trucks & tanks special No21 dedicated to the Panzer IV.
" Within the German Army, the Panzer IV holds a particular place. Developed in the middle of 1930s, this medium battle tank has been fielded with the German armored divisions, from the campaign of Poland, on September 1939, untill the last days of the III. Reich in May, 1945.

To compete with more and more powerful opponents, the Panzer IV evolves regularly. Its armor plating thickens, and its armament is from now on able, due to a 7,5cm gun, to override the Soviet T-34/76 and US M4 Sherman.

This Trucks & tanks special issue approaches the history and the various versions of the Panzer IV, from the Ausf. A to the Ausf. J. Plans, profiles and photographs illustrate the evolution of this "mythical" tank, manufactured to more than 9,000 units! "
