I'm sure many modelers were eagerly waiting for this interesting vehicle to appear in 1/35 scale in plastic. And now, only couple of hours after AFV Club showed their drawings of their upcoming kit, Panda Hobby displays the boxart of the same vehicle: Husky VMMD (Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector). Interesting times to be a modern vehicle modeler, eh?
The Husky Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector (VMMD), previously known as Chubby, is a wheeled landmine detection and route clearance system originally developed in South Africa.

The Husky VMMD is capable of detecting both metal and non-metal buried explosives but can also be customised to detect user-defined threats. The Husky VMMD can clear a path of three meters at a maximum speed of 50km/h.

We'll give you more info on Panda's release soon. Stay tuned to Armorama.
