Dragon USA announces their new releases for May 2015. There are a couple new Braille-Scale offerings to be had with their 1/72 Churchill Mk.III, 1st Canadian Army Tank Brigade, Dieppe 1942 and 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H Late Production, Poland 1943 kits.
1/72 Churchill Mk.III, 1st Canadian Army Tank Brigade, Dieppe 1942

The Churchill infantry tank is a most distinctive design with its extremely long chassis and wraparound tracks. Named after the British Minister of Defence of the time, the Churchill tank was very well armored. It was produced in a series of versions that offered heavier armor and more powerful armament as the war progressed. The Mk.III, weighing in at 39,626kg, arrived on the scene in March 1942. It featured a 6-pounder gun in the all-welded turret, and the hull-mounted howitzer fitted in previous variants was deleted. The Churchill Mk.III was famously involved in the failed landing at Dieppe in northern France on 19 August 1942. The raid landed more than 3,600, mostly Canadian, soldiers, of which 60% were killed, wounded or captured. This item represents a Churchill Mk.III of the type that went ashore at Dieppe, which has an extended exhaust pipes for deep wading.

AVAILABLE: May 2015 - $44.99

1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H Late Production, Poland 1943

The Sd.Kfz.161, more commonly referred to as the Panzer IV, was the most widely produced German tank of WWII, with 8500 produced from 1936-45. One of the later variants was the Panzer IV Ausf.H - it commenced production in April 1943 and a total of 3013 vehicles were completed. It was one of the most important panzers of WWII. Dragon Armor’s new Panzer IV Ausf.H is a veritable work of art, and it will be an invaluable addition to Dragon Armor ’s family. What made the Ausf.H distinctive? Perhaps most obvious is the installation of 5mm-thick steel side skirts and turret skirts on the tank. Glacis armor was thickened to 80mm too. All the extra armor caused the weight of the Ausf.H to jump to 25 tonnes.

Those prices can't be right, surely?

No, the price for the 1/72 Pz IV can't be right, and the Churchill has to be 1/35. I've crawled all over both of these vehicles, 5 minutes apart, and a Pz IVH can not hide behind the hull of a Churchill! However, as you can see by the barrel and top edge of the Pz IV, one of these vehicles has been photoshopped in, so maybe the photo tech didn't know the relative sizes of these tanks. Which raises the problem that Bruce pointed out: if both these models are 1/72, someone has made a serious error on the prices, or both theses models are overpriced by 100%!

That is what Dragon has given for a price on their flyer. I couldn't believe it either and has to be a misprint. Meanwhile Squadron Mailorder lists it for $24.69 (US).
