News in from Panda has two new MRAP vehicles that served in Afghanistan on the way.
Panda has not one, but two MRAP vehicles on the way. The first is the Cougar 4x4 MRAP, and the second is an M-ATV MRAP with CROWS RWS. While the M-ATV was mostly used by the U.S., the Cougar was used by various countries.

35003 – Cougar 4x4 MRAP
35007 – M-ATV MRAP with CROWS II RWS

Armorama would like to thank Panda for the update.

Also very excited for this Cougar release. We used cougars more than any other MRAP. Many of you friends would be dead were it not for the Cougar. Toughest MRAP out there. I've got toons of imi turns of our Cougars, I may even do the whole platoon.

Definitely thanks for that. I knew it was for training but did not realize who it was for. This one was in Hohenfels several years back. The armor does say "For training only" or something to that effect. Still the engine shots come from that one, and i would think it's same setup. Got your PM from a few days ago. Re: those parts, still thinking of what to trade. Right now trying to machine hub on a P-51 wheel to fit on a one inch axle for my latest bike build. The fun never stops.

Is there a reason that on the long 4x4 the roof is higher then that of the 6x6? I noticed it with the Canadian 6x6 Cougars. The early ones look like American JERRV's the later ones have what seems to be a raised roof.

The Cougar is on pre-order for December at HobbySearch ... the price looks reasonable. I'm anxious to see how this one goes together Hisham

Thanks for the heads up, Hisham. I was recently considering the first Cougar, but may go with the new kit.

I'm hoping to build both MENG's 6X6 and this 4X4.. but that depends on what kind of reviews this one gets... Their first M-ATV was found "off-putting" by many modellers Hisham

lol I don't see the long 4x4 but just for you alls information the "long" version is the ILAV. Built for the Iraqis. The pictures I see are of a JEERV and and a 4x4 Cougar.
