Some news in from Miniarm has four turret conversion sets for a Russian tank.
Miniarm has announced four turret conversions, all for the Russian T-72. These new releases should definitely give modelers an option for building the T-72, or you may have to build four. All four conversion sets include resin and photo-etched parts.

35088 Turret T-72 M1975 Conversion Set
35087 Turret T-72 URAL Conversion Set
35029 Turret T-72B/B1 M1984 Conversion Set
35026 Turret T-72B M1989 Conversion Set

Armorama would like to thank Miniarm for the update.

Great looking stuff. I'm sure it will be asked so I'll get it out of the way now, what does the B/B1 turret improve on versus the Trumpeter kit's turret(I'm aware the Trump kit is a later model but essentially the same thing as this one)?

I really like the original URAL turret but there'd be a fair number of changes to the Trumpeter T-72 hull, wouldn't there?

There would be a ton of work to back date it. New glacias, wheels, tracks, sprockets, and numerous other hull changes to name a few. Give Trump a few more months, I'm sure they'll announce a Ural. Then I'll get really ticked off, and throw my Trump 72M2 copy work in progress in the trash along with my reisn Ural turret, SP glacias that's in the mail, SP drive sprockets, Trump RMsh tracks, PE, and metal gun barrel. At least now I will know who to thank for taking it in the shorts so we'd get an injection release of the original T-72! Thanks for your financial sacrifice. . . When they announce the KV-3, I will look at my >$200 resin one and weep quietly.

I suppose here is where I get confused then. Why release turrets that are useless without a non-existent conversion for the hull?

....for T-72 you can use Tamiya kit, for T-72B you can use Trumpeter kit

Hi Everybody; Yea there stuff is great, and its just about the only place for the most up too date detail sets, but its kind of hard too get in the west and only getting Harder. I have purchased quite a few of there kits and can only give them my High Recommend, But Dealing with All Resin kits one has too be very Careful with the kits that have many detail parts as they tend too be very Brittle. And trying too get Replacements is next too Impossible from makers in the East as there Customer Support Leaves something too be Desired. So let the Buyer Beware, if you need too replace a Broken or Missing Parts. As for myself, I am still waiting after Four Months for my Parts ! CHEERS & GOOD LUCK; MIKE.
