Dragon follow up their two Panzerfahren prototypes with the raft that goes between them - and you get the Panzerfahre II as well.
Earlier in the year both of Dragon's braille renditions of the Panzerfahre prototype vehicles were reviewed here on Armorama, and now, as one might have suspected would be the case, Dragon have followed up with the ferry-deck or raft that was intended to be fastened between the two vehicles and loaded with up to 24 tonnes.

The package includes both the new raft, a relatively simple looking affair, with the already released Prototype Nr II kit in the box as well. Since these were all prototypes and never saw action, I think you'd be safe enough with any combination of either of the two Landwasserschleppers in conjunction with the deck.

This kit is currently slated for release in December 2013, and is quite an intriguing prospect, as modelling it seems almost to demand that it be placed in a watery diorama, and quite possibly with a PzKpfw III or IV in place on the deck.

One could almost foresee this release but all the same, it has a good potential for a more than unique and interesting diorama. Something the LEGO scale modellers can drool over not having (yet)! Other than issues that were forewarned in the reviews here, it would have been nice it Dragon had provided some crew figures. Cheers, Jan
