Dragon Does British Artillery II

The latest announcement from Dragon Models is another 25 pounds of British artillery incoming.

Dragon Models has announced another British artillery piece, the 25pdr Mk.II. This is the second 25pdr kit from Dragon, and this kit is stated to have a brand new cradle and shield mount. The kit will also contain the No.27 limber.

6774 – British 25-pdr Field Gun Mk.II w/ Limber

According to Dragon, the kit is slated for a March 2013 release.

The Peerless Max/ Italeri Chevrolet would have towed this set up, the new version announced by Mirror Models also. There is a Morris FAT due from SKP in resin & one in plastic by Mirror along with the older version of the CMP FAT cab 12, the same as the Tamiya Quad but accurate!

Thanks Chippyrail! I am glad I don't have to go with a veteran kit. IMHO it always shows when you combine a state of the art kit with a 30 year old one. I hope the Mirror kits will turn out nice!

How are DML identifying this as a Mk II 25pdr gun and have they corrected the issues of the earlier release?
