Some 2013 releases from AFV Club and Hobby Fan have been announced, and there are a couple of surprises of interest.
AFV Club has released a couple of posters for some upcoming releases for 2013. A couple of note that seem interesting are a 75mm Howitzer and a 6 pdr. There is also a M60 and AEC Matador on the list. And, on the same poster, it seems their sister company, Hobby Fan, will release the LARC and Husky Amphibious Carrier. Looks to be a good year from AFV Club and Hobby Fan.

AF35175 – M1A1 75mm Howitzer Late Type
AF35166 – Ordnance QF 6 Pounder
AF35060 – M60A1 Patton Medium Tank

HF072 – LARC-V (V.N. War Early Type)
HF073 – Husky Amphibious Cargo Carrier

I hadn't seen or heard anything about the M116 Husky or MBT-70 kits...both very unique vehicles. The German version of the MBT-70 really stands out with the turret mounted remote 20 mm.[/quote] I would have had absolutely no interest in the Husky - until I found one not ten miles from my house, in running order. Might as well see what I can do with it.

Note that the MBT-70 is listed as a resin model.

I noticed that too. I hope AFV Club aren't ditching plastic kits for more resin kits.

Stock numbers with AF are the AFV Club plastic kits; HF are HobbyFan resin kits... Jim

That explains it then.

I cannot read some of those so I thought the MBT-70 was the M103. Oh well, that will work for me too. So when do you think we shall see these? ~ Jeff

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited about a new tool M60A1, especially after Meng's AMX-30. Now we just need a new tool Chieftain and Leopard 1 series!

Been waiting for a nice M1A1 from AFV since I saw a poster a while back. Hope it really comes to fruition this year. I'm sure it'll beat the Vision Model one as, in my opinion, it isn't that good. Didn't really like that super soft plastic. Mine even had short shot parts. Rob
