ACE has a new model in production for all the braille scale fans out there and it looks as if the large number of soft skin vehicles seen in 1/35th scale of late are making their way into smaller scales as this time it is the British Light Utility Car 10HP (Tilly).

With ACE releasing a 1/72nd scale British Light Utility Car 10HP (Tilly) I can see a clamour for this miniscule model of the beloved Tilly as despite its small size it looks a fairly well detailed kit and I like the fact that one of the pictures of the Tilly shows a camouflage scheme that matches a Matilda tank picture that often shows up in the same camouflage. Description
The British Light Utility Car 10HP - Tilly (from "Utility") was the name given to a number of British military vehicles produced during WW2 from civilian car designs and used by all of the armed forces in most theatres of that conflict. The chassis is the same size as Austin 10 saloon and it uses a "platform" construction that is the result of welding a pressed-steel floor to a frame, which results in great diagonal stiffness. But the military vehicle had a more powerful motor, additional water pump was added, as well as a bigger fuel tank and "cross-country" tyres were used. About 30.000 vehicles were build.
