Christmas coming from Trumpeter

Trumpeter has updated their website with the December 2012 announcements, and a good assortment with something that may appeal to everyone.

The December 2012 announcements are out from Trumpeter, and it contains some nice looking releases to come. There are a couple of modern kits, including a M1078 LMTV and a JGSDF Type 73 Recon Vehicle. There is also an assortment of Soviet AFV’s with another version of the S-65 tractor, a T-64B tank, and the late version of the D30 howitzer. All releases are 1/35 scale.

05519 – JGSDF Type 73 Light Truck (Recon)
02329 – Soviet D30 122mm Howitzer – Late Version

I really like the M1078. I just worry about the price tag.

I like the Howitzer. I'll reserve judgement about the barrel (kit versus the most awesome RB replacement). Yeah, I'll get that one..... Mike

Anyone know if the tractor is the lic. built catapilar from the U.S.? If it is, it will find it's way to my stash for a future dio I'm collecting kits for. If I built newer stuff, that armored cab looks nice too. Thanks for the up-date Kevin.

The D-30 picture depicting the "early" model. The "late" one has a totally different muzzle brake , and a few minor detail difference. It is hard to say "late" because there is a lot of factory modifications since the first Model A.
