Meng Model have sent us the first boxart image of their first. 1/35th Scale, Styrene figure set.
Now, it's a pretty significant release and will be:

HS-001: Middle Easterners in the Street

This is the beginning of a completely New series from the company and, in this case, will consist of 4 figures suitable for any Middle-East setting with potential for conversion.

Meng should be congratulated for this announcement as previously most figures of this type were in resin with higher prices (and less scope for conversion) along with a few figures which had frankly more to do with Hollywood stereotypes rather than the images that can be seen from the many flashpoints in the Middle East...

No word on release date as yet, Updates as they become available.

Our thanks to Meng Model for this interesting first glimpse!

Very nice set to go with their line up of kits. Just hope they don't water down the details - I was not too fond of the HiLux figure.

A very welcome and timely set. I hope they continue the idea with other civilian sets.

I do hope this is a beginning of a continued line for Meng. I'm in for at least 1 set if not 2. Tom
