Trumpeter has announced a couple of far off kits in the works, and Russian AFV fans should be excited.
Announced this month by Trumpeter are some Russian AFV’s that are in the works. Unfortunately not a lot of detail at the moment, but I think they are worth the news. They have also announced some more workable track sets to come. All will be 1/35 scale.

05511 - Russian BRDM-2(Early)
01566 - Soviet KV-1S Heavy Tank
02046 - Panther G Workable Track Links
02055 - Strv early Workable Track Links
02057 - E-25 Workable Track Links

Stay tuned to Armorama and we will bring you more detail as it becomes available.

I know what you mean, Mauro... I have a very long Must-buy list of modern kits that's keeping me broke all the time. I quit smoking a year ago to have more spending money.. but it's just not enough Hisham

Wach out Dragon! Dragon could make so much money with high quality russian stuff, but they dont do. Start producing soviet stuff and not paper-panzers Nice to see the KV-1S is coming..next one please to be KV-85. And maybe one day we get a soviet armored train

I wish I was able to quit soon. For now I haven't been able to do it yet However I think the next I'll buy will be their T-64 (i've been waiting for it for AGES) It would be great, but in my opinion Dragon isn't interested at all to modern Russian stuff...and it never will I think that probably we could hope to Meng anyway Cheers

Still can't believe that no one has seen fit to produce a decent BMP-1. It's only the most produced IFV on the planet. Sad.....

Judging by the way things are going with Trumpeter it is likely they will do one in the future... at least I hope so!

I've collected some scale drawings of it,I have a bunch of reference included the user's manual. I've bought the masterclub tracks and wheels. I've also bought on special offer the awful old ESCI kit which I'll use to get some parts from...I'm tempted to start a scratchbuild project.. It will take me about twelve years to make it... I think that a decent kit will have been released by then

I've been waiting for a decent BRDM kit since I tried my hand at the Skif one. Glad to see Trumpeter continuing to produce eastern armor.
