Nice figs but still I am disappointed with the pose. I did a comment this year early asking why all the SF figs seems to wait for their double cappuccino at Starbucks. It will be great to have figs firing weapons like a M2 or shooting scouting. I hope someone will read my comments. Cheers Seb

I kind of agree, i think a GMV crew would be handy and indeed perhaps some SF guys raiding a compound, blowing the doors that kind of thing. We must remember though that Evolution also have to appeal to the figure painter market, which prefer stand along figures in a more relaxed pose. So I think that even though the pose is a little unsparing, they do at least still appeal to a wide audience. Having just bought these figures as well (Masterclub.ru where selling them at IPMS nationals) I can say that they are of an exceptional quality.

Seb, I don't know as only the sculptor knows for sure. I'm guessing all of the figures were sculpted as a set to stand around that SOF figure pointing to the RPG on the ground when talking to the Arab man. If so, this is like one of the very few figure sets where all the poses complement each other...you get a Green Beret A-Team of five. I've seen such arc-shaped group discussions of SOFs with the locals on TV.

Oh yes, I like these. I think Evolution figures are top quality and I must admit I like the poses as they would fit perfectly with a Dumvee or that new War Pig from Pro Art. They are sculpted as a team with other three SF figures released previously by Evolution. As for figures in action poses, Seb... Sergey is making Humvee Crew in fight and modern Deltas, so I guess we'll see some action packed figures from Evolution soon. Mario

Great news Maki I have my own M1078 taking the dust due to the lack of interesting pose. Cheers Seb

The modern Deltas sounds neat! Any more info on that? In reality, Deltas, Rangers, SEALs, and Special Forces all each have unique distinct differences in vests and gear that separates them. While they may look the same from a distance, they're really not.

If he will go down the road he started with the first Delta figure, we'll be seeing 1993 gear with the old school Pro-Tec helmets so they kinda do stand out.

No, AFAIK these will be more modern figures, not the continuation of the 1993 Delta theme. M

Modern figure modelers need figures that break new ground and gives us new stuff. Personally, I'd like to see a non-M4 carbine used...instead something like the SCAR-L or SCAR-H, or ACR, or HKM416. Rumor has it Deltas have every weapon in the world stored in their armory (hint-hint, Mario ).
