In addition to the tripod version reviewed here, Master also offers their 3D printed M2HB in a WWII tank mount, with pedestal and frontal barrel support.
It is a fully 3D printed set except for the barrel, which is made of turned brass.
The kit includes
- Three 3D printed trays with parts
- A turned brass barrel
- A small sheet of decals for the ammunition box, with two variants: armour piercing and armour piercing plus tracer.
Several optional parts are offered:
- It can be used with or without flash hider
- There are two options for the barrel support, with and without changing handle
- Two options also for the cooling jacket, with different ventilation holes
Additionally, the top cover can be left open as the inside is moulded.
Ammunition box holder is offered loaded with a box or empty.

The resin used is slightly flexible, which helps to avoid breaking the parts when releasing them from the trees or handling them. The detail is excellent, crisp, with great definition and no visible print banding or errors.
Releasing the parts from the base is quite easy, thicker supports can be cut with pliers and the thinner ones have such a small contact point that often a light pressure with the blade separates them.
In any case, care must be taken not to damage anything. The ammunition belt section is particularly delicate.
The assembly comprises only a few steps for above parts. It is very well explained in the instructions, just follow them, don't use too much glue and make sure everything is well aligned.
