Review
This hard backed offering from Peko Publishing is authored by Jon Feenstra. The book is printed in landscape, which enables photographs to be presented larger than they would have been when originally taken. The contents of the title are broken into 6 section and these are:
Part 1 - Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. F2 (G) (Sd.Kfz.161)
Part 2 - Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Ausf.A (sd.Kfz.171)
Part 3 - Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. G (Sd.Kfz. 142/1)
Part 4 - Panzerjager I 4.7cm Pak (t Auf Pankampfwagen I Ausf V Ohne turm (Sd.Kfz.101)
Part 5 - Renault Trucks in Wehrmacht Service
Part 6 - Char B1 and B1 bis
Within the hard cover are 124 pages covering the contents as outlined. All of the photographs are period black and white offerings of a good quality, showing vehicles both in use and damaged. I have to be honest and say, that the aspect of the book that appeals to me most is the last section covering the B1 and the B1 bis due to the fact that is it big and ugly and everyone has to have a soft spot for the ugly duckling. As with all of the titles I have looked at within this series, I feel that they are most beneficial to the modeller for accurate weathering and finishing of their models and possibly even a small vignette of diorama.
