The TSV-6tanker truck on a ZIL-130 chassis was designed for transporting gasoline,diesel fuel, or kerosene. It was not equipped with any devices for metered fueldispensing or refueling other vehicles. Its only equipment was a simple pumpfor quickly filling and draining the tank. This allowed the chassis's full loadcapacity to be utilized. In a single trip, the TSV-6 carried 6,000 liters offuel, compared to 3,800-4,200 liters for other ZIL-130-based tankers. TheVolgograd Oil Machine-Building Plant (NPO Volgogradneftemash) produced theTSV-6 from 1970 to 1979.
